It is especially difficult to celebrate life's most festive occasions without a place to call home. This year, Isaiah marked a milestone while living at Upward Bound House: he had his first birthday on July 11, just a few short months after he and his mother moved into Family Place. Isaiah's mother is attending school and pursuing a future in nursing; Isaiah loves the color blue and his favorite animal is a "teddy bear."
During this time of rebuilding and stabilizing, Upward Bound House has provided a safe, nurturing environment for this young family. Where would Isaiah and his mother have been for his first birthday, without Upward Bound House? Where would they have been, if someone like you had not shown their support and compassion?
We hope that you will take this opportunity to show your commitment to children like Isaiah. By making a gift today, you become a part of turning our mission - to end homelessness among families with children - into a reality. Since our founding, over 800 families, including 1,400 children, have moved from homelessness into hopeful, stable futures. Our current families need your help in order to join this legacy of Upward Bound House graduates.
